This role is a part of the newly created North America Commercial Analytics team that is responsible for driving transformational analytic capabilities, enabling stronger business performance. In this role you will enable Sales and Marketing teams to leverage insights from our digital commerce tools, consumer panel and customer data to develop insights that will drive our key priorities. You will help develop faster reporting tools and processes, leveraging strong analytical and reporting skills, to enable impactful insights with the use of data mining and visualization techniques. This team is a strategic part of our 2025 vision and will enable a step change in driving Colgate Palmolive’s ability to leverage data as a strategic asset.

What you will do

  • Lead the centralized eCommerce sales dashboard – ensuring it remains up-to-date and is reported out to key partners at the agreed to cadence.
  • Develop and advance the user interface for brand and account teams to easily access data and insights
  • Track and understand online & offline consumer and category trends to drive plans and actions
  • Build sound knowledge of our reporting systems and data sources
  • Support IT in validating the data sources and mapping it correctly
  • Maintain data integrity over time as data sources are added and refreshed
  • Develop standards and best practices for data sourcing from retailers in order to improve efficiency
  • Facilitate the application of insights through monthly team reporting, leadership updates, and annual planning processes
  • Keep up-to-date on outstanding tools in the market needed for our business deliverables
  • Support training the organization to maximise self service tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or any related field
  • 7+ years supporting Business intelligence and reporting, including E-Commerce or DTC
  • Expertise with visualization tools like Tableau, DOMO, Power BI
  • Adept at leveraging data to connect the dots, and build impactful insights using reports visualizations and analytical skills
  • Expertise with understanding and leveraging point of sale data, syndicated data, panel data (Nielsen/IRI or other EPOS/Retail Sales data source; Nielsen/Numerator/Kantar or other consumer panel source)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Demonstrate curiosity, have a growth mindset and a can-do attitude
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills and the ability to connect with senior partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SQL with some programming experience a plus

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate’s 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
