Manager, Business Intelligence Operations – (employer: Sirius XM Radio Inc.; job location: New York, NY) – Understand end-to-end data flow, and provide operational support to all products and projects developed by the Enterprise Data Office (EDO) team and marketing projects supported by the BI Operations team. Analyze data flowing from various source systems into Teradata, Redshift and Aurora databases, analyze data anomalies and determine the root cause for job failures, provide control requirements to control developers, and work closely with development teams to avoid future failures. Ensure data is processed accurately per business requirements. For identified issues, conduct root cause analysis and data remediation. Work with marketing vendors to set up SFTP folders and GPG encryption. Attend FRD/BRD review meetings to gain insight into project scope, build operational constructs and work with various teams to support timely rollout of new projects, and provide operations support after project go-live. Research data anomalies in complex business systems, develop audit reports, provide reports and recommendations for correction of data, and develop business and technical processes to ensure data integrity. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer or Electrical and Electronics), Management Information Systems, or closely related field, plus 7 years of experience in the position offered or in an Associate, Sr. Associate, or Manager role conducting data analysis. All required experience must have included supporting high-performance, cross-functional team in multiple locations and time zones; conducting data analysis and control-based data operations tasks; managing multiple BI/marketing projects; writing queries and debugging data anomalies; analyzing data flows into databases including Teradata, Redshift and Aurora; and setting up SFTP folders and GPG encryption. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Salary: $163,238/year.
