What you will do:
The Management role is accountable for achieving business results through the application of effective leadership and management processes and the work is guided by the Company’s management philosophy. Most of the incumbents’ time is spent providing daily direction, coaching and oversight to direct and indirect reports.
The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
- Manage work to produce customer value by planning and forecasting, setting objectives and priorities, establishing goals, clarifying accountabilities, assigning work, and utilizing management and financial controls.
- Manage levels of performance and assist with employees’ professional growth by planning and building an effective organization; communicating effectively; coordinating with others; maintaining employee morale; motivating, recognizing, and rewarding others; coaching and developing others, and engaging in self-development.
- Manage business and public relationships and situations to obtain better business outcomes; communicate effectively and coordinate with others.
- Typically has budget responsibility at the cost center level.
What you will need
Experience:
- 5+ years of work-related experience
- 2+ years of issue management experience
- 2+ years direct supervisory/management experience
- Knowledge of operational processes for health insurance business
- Experience in the development and execution of business tactical plans in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Experience developing and overseeing effective controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Compliance and legal background, customer experience management, issue resolution, process improvement.
- Knowledge and understanding of all Commercial and Medicare Lines of Business
- Extensive knowledge of the end-to-end claims process and workflows for all provider types and health systems
Education:
- Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
General Physical Demands:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
Physical/Environmental Activities: Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Occasionally

Annualized Salary Range: $72,300 – $117,500
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $72,300 – $90,400
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
