What Will You Be Doing?

This position is responsible for the management of Frontier Airlines’ co-brand credit card products. This individual will lead the product strategy and operations for the credit cards as well as develop the omnichannel marketing strategy to increase cardholder acquisition, activation and spend.

This position will serve as a main point of contact across internal and external partners for all co-brand marketing initiatives. The role is highly collaborative and will require excellent project management skills, communication, and drive to work past hurdles.

Essential Functions

  • Manage Frontier Airlines’ tactical marketing strategy to support the co-brand credit cards across all existing channels, including: direct mail, email, insert production, statement messaging, airport signage, digital, social media, and in-flight
  • Build a strong understanding of the Frontier Airlines’ customer and the co-brand competitive landscape – using this knowledge to develop key initiatives that drive long-term growth of the co-brand program
  • Drive operational excellence in campaign management by developing implementation guidelines, creating marketing best practices, and building/maintaining an archival system for co-brand creative, analytics, and research
  • Ensure each campaign has the proper controls in place for accurate measurement and analysis; presenting key results and recommendations to build on success and optimize future campaigns
  • Develop training documents to support the co-branding credit card’s inflight acquisition channel – including training new inflight staff and assisting with recurrent trainings
  • Act as a point of contact for the card issuer, marketing agencies and other partners aligning interests and fostering collaboration on all components of the program
  • Lead and develop a strong team of coordinators that support the growth of the co-brand products and are adept at delivering insights
  • Collaborate with the Customer Intelligence team to identify, recommend and implement co-brand marketing strategies in new and emerging marketing channels
  • Work closely with the Loyalty Operations team to design promotions and deliver benefits that engender customer loyalty and build on the Frontier Airlines value proposition
  • Advocate, develop and facilitate internal communications and incentives to increase employee awareness of the co-branded credit card, including internal acquisition incentives (call center and inflight promotions)
  • Maintain program project list to effectively execute and track status of projects, campaigns, and events to ensure that marketing efforts support specific forecasts and goals
  • Design comprehensive creative briefs that align the development and execution of all marketing assets across channels and vendors, ensuring creative assets are on-strategy and on-brand.
  • Owns and manages the co-brand credit card acquisition and portfolio marketing campaign calendar, integrating each initiative into the broader Frontier Airlines’ marketing strategy and timeline
  • Support other Loyalty Marketing initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in marketing, account management and/or partnerships
  • 1-2 years of managing a team across different locations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage marketing projects, production schedules, and promotional events, while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, a demonstrated sense of urgency and a results-oriented approach
  • Must have good attention to detail for copy proofing/editing
  • Exceptional presentation and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional writing and copy-editing skills
  • Advanced skill level using Excel for data manipulation and analysis
  • Has an understanding or interest in learning HTML coding
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, partners and staff
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors/trainers
  • Strong corporate vendor development and relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel 30% of time
  • Knowledge of airline and credit card marketing, as well as frequent flyer program rules and procedures is preferred

  • Must be comfortable working around the airports both above and under wing when needed
