Job Description:

The Role

Collaborating with our HR Operations and Workforce Analytics team, this role will be responsible for implementing automated solutions and an improved data structure to ensure our HR team delivers accurate, high-quality analytics and results. You will be designing and implementing tools and a data foundation that rethinks our current processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness and advances our workforce analytics. You will have the opportunity to serve on one of our HR Agile teams focused on areas of multi-year strategic focus.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Experience in a fast paced, collaborative team
  • Familiarity with process automation tools as well as the ability to identify task automation opportunities
  • Experience with and excitement about database applications, data visualization and business intelligence tools such as MS Excel, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, Domo, Snowflake, etc.
  • Ability to produce and manipulate large quantities of complex, confidential information with high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail and quality, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of comfort with detailed processes, data, and working in sometimes ambiguous situations
  • High level of analytical ability, communication, and interpersonal skills required to build relationships, solve problems, and resolve issues, as well as explain technical concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent follow-up
  • A strong desire to learn and innovate, try new things, and propose ways to continuously improve how we work
  • Actively promote good design practices and standards in the solutions delivered
  • Handling and prioritizing multiple concurrent objectives or activities while meeting deadlines
  • Ensuring prompt and effective responses to business partners’ requests and provide consultation to understand the underlying reasons for requests; contracting to recommend ideas and create solutions
  • Excitement around building and maintaining positive, trusting working relationships with members of the FI/FBOT HR team and other internal partners
  • Self-motivated and proactive teammate, who possesses tact, discretion, and a sense of humor
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience

The Team

This role is a critical part of the team delivering high impact workforce analytics, HR projects and operations support including employee movement, performance review cycles, recognition program administration, workforce planning, associate experience, and other initiatives across two of Fidelity’s business units – Fidelity Institutional (FI) and Fund & Brokerage & Operations Tech (FBOT). $90,000 – $112,000 per year

This position is eligible for incentive compensation or an annual bonus opportunity.
