Job Summary:
The Manager, Ecommerce is responsible for executing a comprehensive digital experience strategy that drives revenue and delivers on key brand objectives across new product launches, site promotions, DTC exclusive programs, and all other customer-related initiatives. The manager will be responsible for managing product assortment (core & new), overseeing promotion planning and execution, forecasting daily KPIs and sales performance, and leading the site merchandising strategy for CPB.com to ensure the customer experience is consistent with industry best practices and optimized based on site performance data.
The Manager must be a strong collaborator and will work closely with key internal stakeholders which include US & Global ecommerce, U.S. marketing, the Americas Digital Transformation (ADX) group, Fulfillment, Customer Service, digital I.T, and digital creative. This role reports into the Director of Ecommerce (SHISEIDO & CLE DE PEAU BEAUTE)
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
E-com content management, assortment planning and site merchandising
- Manages campaign strategy and execution as it relates to the overall marketing vision for DTC storefront including driving programs for product launches, promotions, and optimizations to the overall site experience.
- Builds and executes the site content calendar (in partnership with the Senior Manager, Online Marketing), develops associated creative briefs and signs off on final site experience.
- QAs site content in partnership with Merchandising team across product launches, feature roll outs, etc.
- Collaborates with channel, brand & CRM marketing teams on what digital experiences, loyalty activations and promotions should look like, ex. Livestream opportunities, Sweepstakes etc.
- Develops sample strategy in partnership with Director, Ecommerce and manage sample inventory
- Maintains close relationship with Fulfillment and Customer Service teams to ensure commerce initiatives are supported with sufficient inventory.
Analytics and Financial planning
- Partners with Director, Ecommerce & Sales Operations to set the sales plan and manage the forecast.
- Partners with the ADX and Global ecommerce to identify content, category, or campaign level key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, and forecasts by analyzing performance data to identify opportunities and issues
- Develops dashboard as reporting tool and communicate campaign successes to internal business partners across the organization
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Minimum 4 – 5 years ecommerce and/or site merchandising experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and high degree of Excel skills preferred
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and as an individual contributor
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are required
- Forward-thinking, resourceful and curious
- Basic knowledge of HTML coding, CSS, web and graphics applications, and XML data feeds

Salary (Min-Max): $115,128.00 – $158,301.00
