Deloitte Services LP seeks a Manager EFA in Los Angeles, CA.
Work You’ll Do
Advise engagement management on various financial analyses including reconciliations and variance analysis. Lead budget preparation activities and forecasts and provide engagement financial advice. Interact with senior-level internal and external clients and firm leadership to present various analyses, discuss recommendations and provide engagement financial advice. Conduct quality reviews of and provide feedback on the technical work products of junior team members. Develop and implement standards and processes for engagement management, quality management, and risk management. Prepare and facilitate firm training sessions with engagement management teams.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Three years of engagement financial tracking and SAP interaction experience.
- Experience must include three years of:
- Analyzing financial and reconciliation processes and implementing engagement management controls;
- Defining client’s project scopes utilizing financial, budgeting, and forecasting techniques;
- Providing clients with realistic cost estimates for project phases and activities, people, materials, hardware, and software utilizing leading edge project and client management software;
- Utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP skills to create efficiencies in engagement and accounting reporting;
- Conducting quantitative analysis of financial data to forecast revenue and assess risk associated with different engagements;
- Developing complex detailed models to identify variances and analyzing results and budgets for the audit life cycle;
- Preparing accurate and up to date financial summary reports for review with key stakeholders and partners and liaising with internal and external clients regarding financial progress and associated risks;
- Collaborating with cross functional partners to identify and solve operational challenges, coordinate project tasks, and review deliverables;
- Gathering and analyzing complex financial data, verifying the accuracy of financial records, performing investigative research, and presenting results to leadership; and
- Assisting with proposal preparation and identifying new business opportunities and add-on sales and mentoring and coaching junior staff members.
- In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience as stated above.
- Position requires approximately 50% domestic travel.
Salary: $114,483.00 – $181,900.00/year.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
