Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. The salary for this position is $96k- $141k dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages scheduling, staging and production flow, leads Sr Analyst – Engine Planning. Initiates root cause analysis when production status or schedules deviate from operational goals and develops corrective and preventive action(s). Develops tactical and strategic plans to overcome production obstacles and acts as a catalyst within Engine Shop Maintenance to develop alternative strategies to resolve issues. Proactively coordinates implementation of CI strategies with other Tech Ops groups to achieve operational and customer objectives as needed.

  • Manages a team of 7-10 direct reports and acts as a mentor to ensure efficient flow of all repair lots to enhance productivity and output whilst ensuring vital resources are available
  • Maintains a high level of communication with shop supervision to ensure that production will meet all shop/customer expectations
  • Facilitates routine communication among key Tech Ops collaborators including Production, Engine Asset Management, Line, etc.
  • Analyzes and reports on performance against plan for cycle-time, collect and track engine process data and supervise process trends
  • Coordinates business planning issues with production group, including the roll-up of all products and performance data
  • Meets or exceeds operational performance goals including on-time performance, script completion, and productivity and safety objectives
  • Effectively communicates with employees aligning the team for success

What’s needed to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 3+ years maintenance production planning in a leadership role required
  • 3+ years engine/shop planning required
  • Experience in ERP/MRP systems (Sceptre, EMT, EMS, etc. or similar)
  • Ability to evaluate problems and recommend solutions relating to the technical aspects of aircraft, engine and component operations
  • Maintenance planning/Operations Planning/file Maker Pro/MS Access and Excel required
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack:

  • Master’s degree
  • MBA
  • 2+ years maintenance planning or similar level of experience
  • Black Belt preferred
  • Continuous Improvement experience preferred
  • Engine maintenance planning/component planning preferred
  • Experience using MS Office Suite Programs, Auto CAD, CATIA, MS and Mini Tab Projects
  • Excellent knowledge of UA inventory planning process
