Overview
The Manager, Entertainment Ticket Operations will be a highly organized and detail oriented professional with a passion for improving operational efficiencies and experiences for PPL Center attendees. Primary responsibilities include ensuring daily ticket operations run proficiently through creation and implementation of appropriate policies and procedures, establishing ticket operations training and development programs, oversight of event builds, inventory management, and event day scanning procedures. The Manager will share responsibility of maintaining strong relationships with fans, promoters, partners, venue staff, and team executives in a manner that elevates customer service standards
This role will pay a salary of $50,000 to $60,000.

Responsibilities
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Support the arena with execution of daily ticket operations and administration of department
- Primary ticket operations contact for PPL Center concerts, comedy shows and family shows; plan, build, and execute all aspects (scalings, event build, price codes, offers, scanning, box office setup, etc.)
- Serve as ticket operations Manager on Duty for assigned events
- Track attendance for all events, including pre-sales, walk-ups, promotions, discounts, etc.
- Coordinate effective collaboration with designated departments including event production, ticket sales & service, marketing, arena operations, corporate partnerships, business intelligence and strategy & insights regarding the overall coordination and impact of ticket operations.
- Work cohesively with the Director, Sports Ticket Operations to assist each other in the creation of all arena events as well as staffing the box office.
- Cultivate alliance with box office staff to uphold high guest service standard
- Manage daily & assigned event day box office operations and staff
- Primary ticket operations contact for all promoter requests with a focus on sense of urgency
- Manage fulfillment timelines and execution for each event
- Continuously identify and suggest processing efficiencies for sales and ticket operations
- Maintain and cleanse ticket data within the Paciolan database
- Oversee preparation of daily financial reconciliation reports and chargeback disputes
- Responsible for the collection of all ticket monies, tracking of accounts payable/receivable and preparation of sales reports/ticket revenue updates
- Formulate and complete special projects, reports as assigned by management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of box office/ticketing experience, preferably with an arena, performing arts facilityBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business management, sports management, business administration or other related field
- Strong skillset in Excel for reporting-based needs
- Ability to prioritize, delegate workload, and solve problems efficiently and quickly
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external clients by representing the organization and department professionally
- Assertive, motivated, self-starter, autonomous, collaborative, curious
- Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a high functioning team.

- Familiarity with Paciolan ticketing software and advanced building of events is preferred
- Knowledge of terminology use in box office/sales setting
