We are currently seeking a Social Responsibility/Human Rights Manager. This position requires an experienced professional with an ability to lead and continously improve our human rights strategy for our own operations and our supply chain. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
You Will:
- Drive human rights strategy across global operations
- Lead and continuously improve supplier human rights due diligence process including assessment, mitigation, and remediation of human rights risk
- Work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with relevant global regulations
- Support reporting and disclosure
- Develop and support partnerships with leading industry/human rights organizations
- Serve as Lucid subject matter expert for human rights
- Reports through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) on the public policy team, will support other ESG functions as needed
- Role is an individual contributor with room for growth
- The position is preferred in person in Newark, CA headquarters or Washington, DC policy office. Remote will be considered for exceptional candidates.
You Bring:
- 4+ years experience in social compliance, supply chain labor, and/or human rights
- Experience in supply chain human rights due diligence
- Highly collaborative team player with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments and levels
- Has a growth mindset and strives to continually learn and develop
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where you can make an impact quickly
- Ability to travel (potentially internationally) up to 10%
- Supply Chain and/or ESG/Sustainability experience in the automotive, tech, or similar manufacturing industry
- Experience with leading industry organizations like RBA/RMI
- Knowledge and experience with compliance of human rights regulations
- Social auditing experience
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in human rights, sustainability, supply chain, public policy, business-related field, law, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $131,000-$170,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
