Manager, Financial Planning, Analysis, And Reporting, South Park Digital Studios

South Park Digital Studios is looking for our next Manager, Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting! This role reports to the Vice President, Content Finance PMN & Showtime/MTVE Studios. The position supports all financial planning and reporting for the South Park Digital Studios Joint Venture and deliverables to ownership partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts/budgets for SPDS.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement and distribute to JV partners.
  • Coordinate with business and external partners for forecasting, reporting, and contract review across various revenue streams and expense transactions.
  • Forecast, invoice, and review revenue statements and expense targets for SPDS games, including producer bonuses.
  • Consolidate key streaming reports/metrics and share out with JV partners.
  • Manage reporting and calculation of streaming license fees.
  • Manage reporting and calculation of overall deal recoupment.
  • Perform planning and analysis tasks for G&A expenses, including compensation, facilities, and technology.
  • Generate PO’s and process invoices as needed.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries.
  • Conduct meetings with SPDS management and JV partners to review budgets and actuals.
  • Ensure compliance with Paramount accounting policies/procedures, GAAP, and SOX requirements.
  • Field internal and external audit requests as necessary; main point of contact for annual SPDS audit.
  • Create ad hoc reporting upon request.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Superior Microsoft Office, particularly Excel skills
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and/or financial reporting a must

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate and successfully work with senior executives and JV partners
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to meet key deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills, a self-starter with a sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or Longview a plus
  • Knowledge of the Entertainment Industry is a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $90,000.00 – 100,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
