The Retail team at Lucid is currently seeking a Manager, Fleet Sales to assist the Head of Fleet Sales with overall fleet strategy. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of successfully growing fleet sales business. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection.

The Role

    • Assists in the planning, budgeting, and managing of all fleet sales activities
    • Partners cross functionally with teams to enhance internal interfaces to effectively manage fleet accounts, contracts, and inventory
    • Provides guidance to digital teams to create a streamlined and luxurious customer experience for every fleet customer
    • Drives concepts to increase fleet sales and loyalty
    • Conducts outreach to potential fleet partners, helps build the sales funnel, structures pitch, conducts negotiations and reaches internal consensus on deal terms
    • Collaborates with internal teams including finance, marketing, legal and executives
    • Works with senior leadership to set business growth goals and targets to achieve vehicle sales plan

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience, post Graduate degree a plus
    • 8-10+ years of sales experience, including 4+ years of experience managing managers and teams
    • Ideal candidate will have worked at an OEM in fleet sales, and/or a Fleet Management Company, rental car/subscription service or similar and manage vehicle acquisition
    • High degree of sales, financial, and negotiation acumen
    • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capability
    • Knowledge of CRM
    • Passionate advocate of putting our customers at the heart of the work
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical personnel
    • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

CA / Bay Area: $131,000 – $170,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
