Data Ventures exists to unlock the full value of Walmart’s data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives that empowers merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. As part of this transformation, we’re seeking entrepreneurial individuals to help drive data productization from concept to deployment.
This role requires an exceptional individual who is curious, analytical, enthusiastic, detail-oriented and a self-starter to join our Voice of Customer Success team as a Research Manager. The role will be responsible for providing end-to-end market research support across our diverse clientele. It is a critical position focused on being a trusted partner and delivering value through data for our clients. You’ll have an opportunity to use your knowledge of research and needs of our clients, in collaboration with product team members, to discover and scale solutions to ensure we are delivering long-term value.
What you’ll do:
- Lead client demos, trainings, and engagement to foster product adoptions.
- Interact with clients on a day-to-day basis, authoritatively responding to client needs, questions and solving business problems that drive client satisfaction.
- Be primary lead for client projects from proposal drafting, questionnaire creation, data analysis, compile and analyze data & create PPT charts/presentations to summarize key findings through postmortem discussions.
- Be a strategic researcher, passionate about data who can help clients overcome product-specific issues while achieving their goals.
- Have a real impact at scale through trusted and strategic advisor relationships with Clients, Product, Account Management and Business Development teams.
- Drive roadmap prioritization by understanding client pain points and advocating for clients during the decision-making process.
- Collaborate, problem solve, and/or strategize upcoming client meetings and demos with fellow team members.
- Identify opportunities to develop case studies in partnership with Product, Account Management and Marketing.

- You are able and nimble – and can work in a “start-up” like environment embedded within our large Walmart international corporation.
- Highly self-sufficient and motivated.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Extremely organized with proven ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- Ultimately, your passion is research and client success. You are at ease with public speaking, including the ability to lead meetings virtually or in-person.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- 3+ years of market research experience, consumer behavior or related field.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if:
- View yourself as a research visionary who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Deep knowledge of market research techniques and methodologies including cross tabulation, segmentation, concept / product testing and brand equity.
- Excellent digital literacy in Microsoft office tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic working knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS.
- Familiarity of survey programming tools such as Decipher, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey and others.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$139,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives
