Position Description Summary

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be the champion of our member’s (existing and prospects) needs and will be responsible for building products which will take member experience to the next level.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Articulate the problem(s) and socialize the proposed solution(s) to relevant stakeholders and colleagues. Seek out, research, and evaluate areas of opportunity.
  • Focus on delivering impact.
  • Delivering Value by developing and enhancing products – you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.
  • Own the entire product lifecycle including discovery, analysis, test and learn goals, MVPs, user stories, sprint execution, launch, and iteration. Develop systemic feedback loops to drive clarity on product iteration.
  • Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives. Aligns with overall Walmart+ strategy and vision.
  • Crafting and developing solutions to large business challenges – communicate business and customer needs to key partners to implement products and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as business leadership, marketing team, product managers, engineers, UX designers, data scientists, across multiple offices and time zones.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of your products and initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness with participating stakeholders.

  • You are data-driven and analytical to draw insights from current product performance to deliver on key user metrics.
  • Have a bias towards action with an eye towards detail. You drive results without being directed. You can understand cross-functional needs and ruthlessly prioritize. You make sure other team members are aligned and empowered to execute.
  • Be comfortable operating and executing in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders. You have the empathy and communication skills to understand differing perspectives so you can articulate and deliver solutions that address the needs of multiple constituencies
  • Be adept at managing relationships and influencing others at all levels without direct authority. You’re comfortable in ambiguous situations. You exhibit humility and listen to others more than you speak

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record of aligning to an overarching product vision, using data and analysis to support strategy and prioritization, and day to day product execution.
  • 2-3 years of Product Management experience
  • Strong user experience, analytics, and technical acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with highly cross-functional teams
  • Intellectually curious with a data driven mindset. Experience shipping and iterating based on data.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • MBA with technical orientation or Industrial and Systems Engineering with a digital product management orientation.
    • Experience in working with membership/ subscription businesses and partnering with marketing teams.
    • Experience with AB Testing

The annual salary range for this position is $136,000.00-$200,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives
