Overview and Responsibilities
The International Accounting team supports all aspects of actuals reporting and analysis for our international operations. We are seeking a manager to join our team to support our reporting and accounting process. As the Manager you will:
• Support our international restructuring process and analysis, working with HR/Finance and various departments to provide, analyze the data, and record adjusting journal entries. Analytical review of restructuring accruals to ensure accuracy
• Analyze general ledger data to comment on balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses
• Prepare or review schedules to support internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process, working with various teams such as shared services, controllership, and external reporting. Schedules include gross profit eliminations, deferred revenue roll forwards, contractual obligations, and revenue disclosure schedules, and others.
• Collaborate with shared services and corporate accounting on the STIP bonus reconciliation and true up process.
• Support month-end close activities including the recording of entries for monthly processes (capitalized development, restructuring, etc.).
• Review monthly intercompany confirmations and reconciliations. Collaborate with divisions and shared services to investigate unreconciled amounts.
• Support the statutory audit processes for centralized audit areas including restructuring requests. Coordinate with HR to obtain audit support in timely manner and perform calculations to identify statutory adjustments.
• Opportunity to participate in various ad hoc analysis and special projects including ERP system implementations and collaborating with IT to create new reports for month-end close processes.
• Ensure SOX and best in class processes are adhered to.
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years related work experience with a large audit firm within public accounting and/or multi-entity organization with international operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance
Additional Qualifications
• CPA or parts passed preferred
• Media & Entertainment experience preferred
• Workload prioritization and management. May require meetings during morning or evening hours to meet with colleagues overseas, support busy periods, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (oral, written & listening).
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities, be proactive and follow through.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong work ethic
• Ability to adapt quickly to new policies and procedures
• Ability to quickly learn new software applications, databases, and reporting tools

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 – 135,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
