This role is responsible for Global Income Tax Issues relating to international (primary) and domestic (secondary) tax matters. In this role, the Manager will support the Director of International Tax on cross-functional projects, transfer pricing and international/domestic income tax projects to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Review quarterly U.S. international tax calculations (GILIT, BEAT, Subpart F, FTC, etc.) and income tax provisions/SEC reporting requirements.
- Assist with the review and management of global transfer pricing controls, policies, and documentation.
- Oversee implementation of planning and compliance relating to global adoption of OECD initiatives.
- Monitor, research, and analyze tax legislative developments and recommend actions.
- Perform domestic and international tax planning/ad hoc projects along with associated modeling, analysis, and communication of tax efficiencies and risks to key stakeholder (legal entity rationalization, etc.).
- Support international portion of the U.S. federal tax audits and foreign income tax audits/inquiries.
- Manage country by country reporting and filings.
- Oversee external providers to ensure timely, complete and accurate filing of tax returns, extensions, and payments.
- Support M&A activity, including due diligence, acquisition structuring and integration planning.
- Mentor and supervise staff including coaching and performance management.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Applicable Accounting certification preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of International Tax experience including 3 years with public accounting, preferably “Big 4”
- Prior management of direct reports
- Ability to commit to hybrid work arrangement in the Lincolnshire, IL office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional functional and technical knowledge of Federal tax law practices, issues and filings
- Excellent written and Oral Communication Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced computer and software skills
- Strong analytical skills

Salary: USD 114800.00 – USD 172200.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
