The IT team is looking for a Manager, IT Infrastructure to design and execute the infrastructure strategy aligned with the company’s goals and growth plans.

Role:

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technologies that enhance business efficiency and support innovation.
    • Defines the operating structure, processes, procedures, and talent profiles required to build a world-class team.
    • Manages performance, coaches team leaders and members, and resources team appropriately to deliver on objectives while driving a culture of excellence.
    • Provides leadership and hands-on technical direction to deliver tactical problem solutions and break-fix capability.
    • Establishes and implements Infrastructure best practices and tracks technology trends.
    • Oversees and provides leadership direction during operational incidents, ensuring necessary resourcing and availability of subject matter expertise with proactive business communications.
    • Delivers change and incident management to drive industry-leading operational excellence.
    • Drives successful business outcomes beyond the day-to-day operations.
    • Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle ensuring the proposal and development of effective solutions that meet the project objectives and are in line with business and system strategies.
    • Work closely with other product teams to manage dependencies.
    • Operate as a technical expert on infrastructure projects pertaining to Storage, Virtual Machines, Systems Management, Cloud Services, Monitoring, File Serving, Capacity Planning, and DR

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant technical degree
    • 6+ years’ experience of IT management
    • 10+ years of experience working with Datacenter and Server environments.
    • 10 + years of experience working with VMware ESXi
    • Experience as both a people leader and program manager

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficient in Infrastructure Systems & Storage, Data Center Virtualization, and Cloud Environments.
    • Experience with mission-critical services and applications in an enterprise environment.
    • Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Works well under stress with tight timelines for deliverables.
    • Strong analytical skills coupled with technical creativity and vision.
    • Experience with Certificate Services/PKI, Active Directory, VMWare, Dell EMC VxRail, SolarWinds, Grafana, Linux, AWS, and Network Storage technologies

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $138,000 – $198,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
