Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Director, Retail Ops & Performance, the Manager, NM Retail Operations & Performance will work closely with all Neiman Marcus boutiques and all departments. This role will be accountable for monitoring the proper execution of all operational aspects in the NM boutiques.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all functions of VCA Neiman Marcus Retail Operations in line with Maison Policy (US, CA & Brazil), Richemont North America Finance, Audit & Security Procedures, and Richemont Brazil procedures.
  • Oversee and prepare weekly and monthly reconciliation reports and provide validation to the Finance and Retail teams
  • Build technical documents on business process and polices that support the Neiman Marcus and VCA teams
  • Lead transversal Retail projects with focus on New Retail & Omnichannel, working closely with Retail HQ and local Communications, Visual, CRM, Training, Digital, Supply Chain IT, HR, and Marketing teams.
  • Support all VCA Neiman Marcus store/sales development projects as identified
  • SAP expert and “go to person” for all retail and staff: drive new SAP functions roll-out to US market; run key user tests, conduct operations training; manages employee purchase programs: including wedding band, 1st employee purchase.
  • Actively participate in the formulating and writing of the Retail Section of the Annual Strategic Plan for the Americas.
  • Assist VCA Neiman Marcus store annual /monthly store acting plan
  • Set up Performance KPI for the stores.
  • Propose and monitor incentive programs for store and sales associates to improve transformation rate
  • Monitor the growth of multiple sales, and increase average basket in dollar
  • Audit: support annual store inventories/audits wherever required, requested and needed.
  • Manage distribution of all retail related materials ( i.e. Business Cards, Stationary, gifts, catalogues etc.) as identified and directed. Develop a supplies model stock.
  • Support all VCA Neiman Marcus Store Openings, store renovations, Museum Exhibitions, events etc…
  • Presence at key retail related events in a support function role as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-6 years of related experience
  • Retail Management experience preferred
  • Luxury background is preferred
  • Ability to Analyze, Forecast and Strategize
  • SAP knowledge is preferred, expert Excel skills with advanced formulas
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% required
  • Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and ensure compliance from the field
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to motivate a team to reach the brand’s KPIs and expectations

Salary Range: $90K-$100K/Annually

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.

This role is bonus eligible.
