We are looking for a manager that will manage our Battery Accelerator. This position is a remote role, although preference in California, Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan.
Role Description
- As an in-country manager you will lead the US-based product experts group, initially starting with 5-7 people
- You will participate in development, adaptation and implementation of HQ strategies to best match the requirements of the US market, contributing with new ideas and challenging the status quo
- You bring abroad knowledge and vocabulary of automation EOMs and Battery producers which allow you to act in the field starting day one
- Some years of experience in the Battery industry allow you to freely communicate and understand pains and requirements of our customers in the manufacturing domain
- The knowledge of industrial software simulation, engineering and process design will help you to translate customers pains into IT-structures, algorithms and data-concepts
- Rapid prototyping and ideation methodologies are known to you and will help you and your team to implement technology demonstrators in our customers facilities in the US
- You mastered your communication skills and ability to structure your thoughts into concise and clear statements to shine at the board meetings and in front of technical teams
- Global business aspects as various company functions like marketing, sales, finance and legal are not new to you and you know how to work with them efficiently
- You successfully work in the larger team and can sit independently when there is a need to deliver fast
- You project healthy spirit to the team, proactively represent the team towards external stakeholders
- You are willing to grow and develop further, while not hesitating to help, onboard and tutor new junior members with respect and care
This is what a perfect candidate has to offer as Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, Computer Science, Computer Aided Engineering or related technical field
- 7+ years of professional experience in the field of processes design and simulation, data processing, machine learning knowledge is a plus
- 3+ years’ experience in managing groups and multidisciplinary technical projects
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery industry in production technologies
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer sciences, Electrical Engineering or related technical field or equivalent formation
- Good network to universities, customers, and the data industry
- Overview on AI technologies
- You have a profound awareness for quality and product safety as well as good understanding for commercial aspects of a product development
- You are thrilled to work with new technologies and love working on small details or global questions equally. With this in mind, you prefer working in a fast-paced environment you can influence instead of resting in fixed processes

- The pay range for this position is $118,500 Low – $160,000 High. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
