Position Summary:
Position responsible for driving the design, development and ongoing enhancement of business insights and analytics across organization by working with all business units including finance, population health, operations, clinical programs and information technology. Provide business intelligence and analytic solutions to inform both internal and external organizational business strategies. Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.
Your contribution to the team includes:
- Engage with leadership from all support and business units to strategically identify, prioritize, and implement changes designed to improve the quality of care delivered to the patient populations served by HealthPoint through robust analysis and insight of business results and forecasting.
- Own the product strategy/vision and monitors the entire product lifecycle from discovery to product delivery. With overlap from product owners in Data Services development teams, connect with business leaders and identifies needs. Defines product requirements and scope of products to be built.
- Lead and manage product backlog and priorities with business leaders and IS. Lead product backlog sessions partnering with key resources.
- Develop and implement analytical approaches and methodologies, and partner with IS in developing and governing the internal and external information sources for business analysis.
- Manage a team of business, health, and specialty analysts responsible for using data to better understand critical issues related to the financial health of the organization. Provide answers to complex business questions that support the realization of operational and strategic goals including success on value based managed care contracts.
- Provide leadership, talent development, and performance management for team of analysts. Ensure all work is completed in support and enhancement of the objectives and goals of the organization.
- Develop and deploy analytics communication strategy.
- Develop information using data and statistical methodologies to provide insight into business performance and suggest area and methods of improving performance.
- Collaborate with business leaders in translating strategic and operational challenges into analytical projects and actions that are solution driven.
- Act as a champion and change agent for business analytics by driving the adoption of a culture of data-driven decision making within the organization
- In collaboration with leadership, monitor internal and external business environments for development of new business opportunities and collaborate with subject matter experts in developing business case analyses.
- Collaborate with leadership to provide operations reporting and information visualization to all levels of leadership.
- Educate the organization on modern business analytics practices, tools, and techniques and cultivate an organizational culture of data-driven business management.
- Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.

- Responsible for hiring, performance management, talent development, employee relations, recognition, and training of staff by providing effective leadership. Ensure all work is completed in support and enhancement of the objectives and goals of the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to streamline and enhance office operations using the HealthPoint Lean Management System (HLMS) tools and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field (e.g., Data Science, Engineering, and Applied Sciences) and 2 years of experience in business analytics in ambulatory or physician operations management or business analytics or other quantitative discipline in a data-centric business environment, preferably within the healthcare industry plus 2 years experience in product management or product owner in an agile product development environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to skillfully collaborate, inspire and build confidence in others; create alliances; obtain support and respect from diverse groups. Strong communication skills with an ability to translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations through compelling and easy-to-digest reports and presentations. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in order to effectively identify and present options, assess opportunities, and present recommendations to all levels of management.
- Advanced ability to operate computers and related software for Microsoft platforms including data visualization tools. Experience with Power BI and SQL Query skills highly desirable. Advanced Excel skills required.
Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 is required, prior to start. All new employees are also required to show proof of immunizations and/or immunity to MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella, annual Influenza and TB QuantiFERON Gold Titer. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Tdap (within last 10 years) is required. Hepatitis B. is required for clinical employees with potential exposure to blood/blood products. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immune titer results prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.
