Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Overview
- Partner with Internal Communications, External Communications and Channels teams on HR, DEI and Impact-related content
- Drive Employer Brand, company culture, DEI and ESG with internal and external communication strategy and people-focused story mining
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Manage internal and external communications strategy and content development to support the company’s DEI strategy and narrative with a 365 approach, including:
- Ongoing demonstration of strategic commitments and progress
- Reinforcement of values and behaviors
- Ownership of cultural moments content
- Development of ERG impact stories and event amplification
- Support head of DEI team with communications needs (e.g., event talking points, internal presentations, quotes for press)
- Partner with DEI team on awards strategy, submissions and applications
- Review internal and external communications content with a DEI lens, as needed
- Independently analyze and qualify targeted DE&I events and sponsorships to use as a strategic platform for building awareness of Advantage Solutions DE&I. Provide recommendations to Advantage Solutions SR Director of DE&I, DE&I Board, Corporate Communication team, and other business leaders.
Human Resources
- Translate Employer Brand narrative into a career channels editorial strategy and manage all content development; partner with internal and external communications team on how to reinforce in their channels
- Develop communications for candidate experience and campus recruiting, with a DEI lens
- Partner with HR teams on enterprise-wide cyclical communications (e.g. benefits, performance reviews, training and compliance), providing strategic counsel and distribution execution
- Support Talent Acquisition’s professional and high-volume recruiting efforts
Misc.
- Support Sr. Director in response to crises and cultural issues
- Assist with development of ESG report and storytelling, as needed
Skills & Experience
Required
- 3-5 years of experience in a communications or marketing role
- Copy-editing in AP style
- Proven understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Nice to Have
- Crisis and ESG communications experience
- Familiarity with change management
- People leadership or mentorship
The salary range for this role is $80,000-$120,000

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Business Communications
• Own and drive internal and external communication strategy across all marketing touch points (blogs, print/digital media, website, white papers and other communication materials).
• Manage the development and dissemination of Advantage Solutions thought leadership content through targeted US platforms (publications, speaking engagements, industry events, etc.) to advance the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion mission.
• Lead a senior level cross-functional team to develop the strategy for a new corporate website that elevates Advantage Solutions brand imagery and helps to drive business for the entire enterprise.
• Support managing the corporate website, including integration of social media, content strategy to ensure the website serves as a meaningfully differentiated gateway to the organization’s thought leadership and portfolio of services.
Associate Engagement/Retention
• Fully accountable for selecting partnerships and leading the relationships with influential and well-established DE&I organizations (I.E. Color Comm, 3% Movement, Work Wider, etc.).
• Devise an effective social media strategy to maximize the organization’s impact and achieve the desired level of North America coverage.
• Manage the ERG external engagement promoting content to raised brand visibity and recruitment efforts.
• Drive the design and development of engaging digital media (banner advertising, thought leadership email broadcasts, etc.) with the Corporate Communication team and other key company partners.
• Proactively leverage media opportunities to maximize the DE&I strategy (I.e. editorials, bylines, expert interviews, etc.).
Event Sponsorships / Thought Leadership
• Independently analyze and qualify targeted DE&I events to use as a strategic platform for building awareness of Advantage Solutions DE&I . Provide recommendations to Advantage Solutions SR Director of DE&I, DE&I Board, Corporate Communication team, and other business leaders.
• Strategically assess our corporate sponsorship’s ability to drive key results and proactively engage with the Sr Director of DE&I to strategize on leveraging the opportunities.
• Directly engage with executive leadership to translate their external visibility objectives into strategic speaking engagements that simultaneously build their brand credibility and Advantage Solutions industry reputation.

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: 8+ years of experience in Corporate Communications

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
