Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis

Summary

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, reporting to the Director of FP&A, is responsible for assisting in all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will act as a key partner to the business in communicating financial and operating performance to senior management in order to aid critical decision-making activity and ensure the business performance is aligned with its financial and strategic goals. This is a high-visibility role within the business with opportunity for growth within the organization.

Salary range:

$110,000-$125,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create weekly and monthly reporting to clearly identify trends and variances to forecast, budget, and historical expenses, provided in a clear and action-oriented format to drive decisions.
  • Partner with business teams to create dashboards, tools, and insights that align to each team’s specific needs and financial outcomes.
  • Support the preparation and continual improvement in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Identify, develop, and implement opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to support month end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested.
  • Other duties as needed or required

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows).
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Effectively communicate and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency with financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications; advanced level experience in Excel.
  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve challenges.
  • 5 plus years of overall finance experience.
  • Commitment and ability to manage time and meet critical business deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and high growth environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • MBA preferred
