Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements effective Travel department on-boarding and training.
- Holds monthly one-on-one meetings with Travel team to solicit feedback and provide support.
- Develops and implements standard workflows, monitoring, and reporting of KPI’s for the Travel department.
- Evaluates and identifies opportunities, including ability to develop, prioritize and implement plans to meet organizational goals.
- Oversee administration of corporate credit card process related to travel services.
- Works closely with the Director of Travel Services in developing policies and procedures related to the Travel department.
- Manage TMC and vendor relationship.
- Maintenance of positive vendor relationships.
- Negotiate preferred rates with travel service providers.
- Managing travel process and operations.
- Prepare and analyze report to all aspect of travel department data.
- Oversee travel department budget.
Education and/or Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-10 years of management experience in Travel
- Expert in Sabre
- Ability to motivate employee performance and facilitate professional development.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, and staff.
- Ability to use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information.
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments that drive results.
- Experience in managing a TMC partnership and after-hours travel services.
- Vendor negotiation experience.
- Demonstrates critical thinking in decision making by considering the impact on interdependent technology and departments.
- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment and culture.
Compensation range: $80-$85,000/yr.
Hybrid work environment. Must be local to Fort lauderdale.
