Manager, Operations Development

What you will be doing:

To be successful in the role, you should be prepared to apply project management principles to strategic challenges within manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations. You should be intellectually curious and enjoy solving unique business challenges. With a focus on optimizing our footprint, you should be prepared to perform the following:

  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and stakeholders to drive initiatives designed to improve operations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and manage contractors to ensure adherence to schedules and project objectives.
  • Consolidate, quantify, and analyze data to inform the business strategy.
  • Manage day-to-day project-specific tasks and developments.
  • Manage the integration of cross-functional requirements.
  • Present at leadership meetings and other forums.
  • As required, deploy continuous improvement problem solving tools like LEAN and Six Sigma to solve a variety of operational challenges.

Education and/or Experience

  • A minimum Bachelor’s Degree. STEM/Finance/Business preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience within an operations environment preferred.
  • Project management experience
  • Corporate Real Estate and/or project management advanced training and certification a plus.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, manufacturing/technology teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create documents and presentations.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and other project management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Employee will be exposed to an industrial environment to include manufacturing and warehousing operations.

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant ASSA ALBOY policies and procedures.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Spanish speaking skills are critical to the success of this role. The successful candidate must be able to develop a Spanish speaking proficiency (or already possess the skillset).
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.

Compensation

Our compensation packages are a good faith estimate of what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we take into consideration a broad scope of factors, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The salary range for this opportunity is $70,000 – $90,000.
