Manager, Mobile App Install (MAI)
Overview:
The Manager, Mobile App Install (MAI) will be accountable for the day-to-day execution of a client’s mobile app performance marketing initiatives, managing the junior members of the team, and focusing increasingly on strategy development for your dedicated account(s). You are expected to function at a highly efficient level utilizing advanced execution skills and maintaining relationships with key clients.
Your Impact:
- You’ll lead the day-to-day supervision of MAI performance media programs including strategic approaches, bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting and overall goal achievement.
- Develop positive relationships with the mobile community, vendors and Directors for optimal service levels and results
- Understand the client’s product, marketing objectives and digital goals for their app(s) and execute tactics to deliver on these goals.
- This is a management role, so you’ll perform as a leader with minimal supervision
- Monitor, track and evaluate campaign performance analytics, based on client KPI targets and baselines.
- Stay on top of the latest updates regarding mobile-specific tools and platforms such as (Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns, MMPs, 3rd party campaign management & competitive analysis tools.
- Think creatively, do research, and develop tools and innovative tactics to improve efficiencies or advance the practice. Present practical ideas for future marketing expansion or optimization.
- Actively contribute to corporate initiatives, automation projects, process changes and roll-outs.
- Build, or assist in crafting, POVs, standard methodologies, and key process documentation
- Campaign Strategy definition and implementation, working closely with other internal departments to develop fully integrated mobile campaigns
- Stay current on industry trends, focusing on how changes can help improve offerings to accounts and enhance our overall practice.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising; OR equivalent professional work experience You’ll join us because you have gained a minimum of 3 years of performance media campaign management experience
- You’ll have gained essential experience in paid Search / Social / Programmatic platforms preferably with a focus on mobile first channels such as Apple Search Ads or Google App Campaigns.
- You’ll be an emerging expert in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) optimization techniques (ROI / CPA / CPL / Impression Share)
- Knowledge of the mobile measurement landscape or experience working with one of the major MMPs or Firebase / Google Analytics preferred
- Understanding of 3rd party MAI-focused campaign management / bid management / competitive insight tools such as Skai, Data.ai, Mobile Action, Iron source etc. a plus
- Experience meeting with and delighting clients is essential
- Ambition to manage and mentor junior members of a team; prior experience as a manager a plus

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
