Manager, Portfolio Management
Hybrid Position, 3-days per week onsite, 2-days remote
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00-4:30
Exempt, Salary Range: $95,000-125,000. Position eligible for additional incentives including Bonus, 401(k) match, health and welfare benefits, amazing culture, growth opportunity and more!!

National Funding is continuing to grow and has a great opportunity for a Manager, Portfolio Management. National Funding is a stable, fast growing fintech company in UTC area. Reporting to the VP, Corporate Counsel, the Manager of the Portfolio Management team is responsible for oversight of the active loan portfolio for several brands as well as the day-to-day management of the Portfolio Management team. This position is responsible for executing key accounts receivable functions within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Manager also works cross functionally with the sales teams to optimize, execute, and maintain internal policies and procedures to minimize loan delinquency and maximize performance. The Manager possesses the ability to drive success of the team in an agile work environment, work independently, problem solve, and collaborate.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and develop the Portfolio Management team with the goal to drive overall strategy to minimize delinquency and charge off
- Hire and train employees; manage employee performance (through rewards and discipline); address complaints and resolve problems
- Resolve account issues to maintain strong customer relationships and arrive at a mutually beneficial solution for the customer and the Company
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in the collection process and executes changes to enhance the business process, as directed by management
- Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
- Ensure the Portfolio Management team meets goals by delegating work and tasks to optimize efficiency
- Communicate and follow up effectively with the Sales Department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
- Monitor and Track collection performance, making adjustments to strategies as needed
- Provide excellent and considerate customer service
- Other duties as assigned
An Ideal Candidate Looks Like This:
- 3 years of management experience
- 5 years of experience with collections /accounts receivable/ customer service
- Ability to motivate team to work accurately and efficiently
- Analytical and business process oriented, with a keen skill for problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills and excellent time management skills
- Collaborative team player with ability to perform at both tactical and strategic levels
- Ability to form effective internal and client relationships
- Experience working in a virtual fast-paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
