Role Purpose
Manages the marketing and communications project management team. Responsible for working with BJC marketing and communication leadership to prioritize critical objectives and to scope and define engagements. Ensures the project management team is efficiently managing marketing and communications programs, delegating tasks to project team members, and ensuring marketing and communication projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages and evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
- Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
- Works with marketing and communication leadership to identify, define and prioritize strategies, business, operations, and process concerns impending key.
- Develops and deploys strategies and departmental operating plans to improve systems and services across the department/organization.
- Continually analyzes developments related to project management competencies and determines fit and feasibility with the BJC culture. Identifies appropriate engagement strategies for improving the overall operational efficiencies of the department/organization.
