Responsibilities
Ability to lead and inspire teams, stakeholders, and project managers through influential leadership, fostering collaboration and driving project success.
Revenue Cycle Experience (Required): Deep understanding of revenue cycle processes, with the ability to align projects with business objectives, drive revenue growth, and optimize operational efficiency.
Proven experience in directly managing project managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.
Track record of successfully establishing and managing a Project Management Office (PMO), implementing best practices, standardized methodologies, and tools for effective project management and delivery.
Proficiency in project and portfolio management, including the ability to prioritize projects, align them with organizational objectives, optimize resource allocation, and ensure successful project outcomes.
Familiarity and experience with various project management disciplines, such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma, enabling adaptability and the application of different methodologies and frameworks as needed.
Process design or engineering (desired): Experience in process design or engineering, allowing for the evaluation of existing processes, identification of improvement areas, and driving process reengineering efforts to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience, which includes at least 2 years of relevant financial leadership experience.
OR
Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, which includes at least 2 years of relevant financial leadership experience.
OR
In lieu of bachelor’s degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required, which includes 2 years of relevant financial leadership may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred.
Health care revenue cycle leadership experience preferred..
Relevant certification(s).
PMP Certification Strongly Preferred
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile (preferred): Additional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile methodologies, showcasing the ability to drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and agile project delivery within the PMO.
