In this role, you will lead Residual Value Management as part of Lucid’s Financial Services organization. You will have deep automotive financial services experience with a strong analytical skillset and expertise in market research, forecasting and competitive landscape analysis.

Responsibilities:

    • Build and lead the Residual Value (RV) Management function at Lucid supporting all regions globally
    • Provide actionable insights and develop data-based strategies to strengthen Lucid’s portfolio, improve & maximize Residual Value performance and increase profitability across each market
    • Manage relationships with residual benchmark companies in ea
    • Establish credibility within Lucid as the go-to expert in Financial Services on EV Research and industry insights, develop EV outlook & forecast EV resale values based on data-backed assumptions
    • Experience with the EV segment, used car market and remarketing strategies across domestic and international markets is a strong plus
    • This role will engage regularly with C-Level executives and other Senior Management to provide inputs on RV impact and advice management on strategies to build brand strength and customer retention in this regard. Must be able to effectively communicate with executive management, including leading discussions on building Residual Values of Lucid vehicles, impact of proposed incentives on RVs, Lucid RV updates, insights on competitor’s RVs, and impact of market conditions on Lucid RVs
    • Effectively collaborate with key cross functional stakeholders including CEO, CFO, Sales, Corporate Strategy, Technology, Accounting, and lending partners to ensure frictionless processes, alignment and new product development
    • Build and maintain appropriate management reporting to ensure transparency regarding performance with a solid bias for decision making
    • Serve as an internal resource and subject matter expert for questions and issues surrounding Residual Values

Required Qualifications:

    • 7+ years’ automotive and financial services experience in Captive Finance, Startups, Remarketing and/or Risk Management
    • Proven experience and skillset in Analytics, Forecasting, Financial Modeling and/or Market Research in Automotive Finance
    • Excellent knowledge of Automotive Financial Services products
    • Experience with Residual Value analysis is required
    • Experience in people management is desirable including hiring, performance management, and leadership
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and work across all levels & functional areas
    • Proven problem solving skills and experience influencing executive stakeholders
    • Ability to switch between Strategic and tactical to drive results and innovation
    • Bachelors degree required

Preferred:

    • Experience in the Luxury & EV segment is strongly preferred
    • Experience in project management and/or process improvement
    • MBA or similar masters degree

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $131,000 – $187,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
