Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Billing Follow-Up Manager with extensive knowledge of Transplant operations, EPIC, automation, and applying your expertise in data analysis to ensure efficient operations to join our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hospital billing follow-up process, ensuring accurate and timely claims followup, resolving payor delays, leveraging automation and maximizing revenue recovery. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, reporting analytical expertise and proficiency in EPIC software, as well as experience with automation and RPA tools.

Responsibilities:

Manage the hospital billing follow-up team including transplant follow up operations, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure efficient operations and achievement of revenue targets.

Utilize EPIC software to monitor, analyze, and manage the revenue cycle process, ensuring accurate and timely claim resolution.

Develop and implement strategies to reduce claim denials, rejections, and delays, including proactive identification and resolution of billing issues.

Stay updated on the latest healthcare regulations, guidelines, and payer policies to ensure compliance and minimize revenue loss.

Collaborate with the revenue cycle leadership team to identify areas of improvement, streamline processes, and enhance overall revenue cycle performance.

Utilize automation and RPA tools to automate repetitive and manual tasks, improve productivity, and reduce errors.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the team’s performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of operational processes, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions to optimize revenue recovery.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the follow-up team, staying updated on industry best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience, which includes at least 2 years of relevant financial leadership experience

OR

Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, which includes at least 2 years of relevant financial leadership experience

OR

In lieu of bachelor’s degree, HS/GED and 12 years’ of relevant experience is required, which includes 2 years of relevant financial leadership may be considered.

Health care revenue cycle leadership experience preferred.
Master’s degree preferred.
