Insight Global is looking to hire on a Machinist for a Manufacturing company in the Phoenix, AZ area. This position will be responsible for fabricating and finishing precision machine parts in steel, stainless steel and plastic. The selected candidate will need to be able to work with little to no supervision and be a self-starter.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):
– Fabricating and finishing precision machine parts
– Operates mill, lathe, and other metalworking machinery to support in the production of steel and stainless-steel parts and assemblies
– Be a team player, assisting teammates with other tasks as necessary, and cultivating an environment of continuous improvement
– Follow production schedules in order to meet customer requirements, ability to work outside of core hours as needed to complete projects
– Complete and maintain documentation in accordance with industry standards and as set forth by the business
– Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure parts are within specification
Required Skills & Experience
– Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in precision machining
– Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
– Must have good communication and organizational skills
– Must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
– Must have experience in manual lathe and mill operations
