This role in summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Manufacturing Electrical Maintenance Technician positions to join our Tulsa, Oklahoma manufacturing location. This role is onsite
The positions and shifts we have available are as follows:
1st Shift M-Thursday 5:00 am- 3:30pm,
Weekend 2nd Shift
5pm to 5:30 am Saturday and Sunday
Pay is $33.00 an hour

Your responsibilities will include
• Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers PLC’s and ladder diagrams
• Electrical knowledge Variable Frequency Drive, (VFD’s, power supplies, relays, contacts, etc.)
• Mechanical knowledge (shafts, bearings, chains, sprockets, etc.)
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Read electrical and/or hydraulic prints
• Diagnostic ability to separate mechanical and electrical issues
• Work in a team environment
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Obtain Forklift and Aerial Lift operator licenses – Training will be provided for these licenses
• Work at heights
• Demonstrate overall safe work behavior; including the utilization of proper safety equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
• Complete all safety testing requirements
• Stoop, kneel, squat and stand for long periods of time.
• Experience with metal forming presses, welding/fabrication and/or robotics would be a plus
Minimum requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• 3+years’ experience in repair and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment
• 3+ years’ experience troubleshooting high (480) & low (24) voltage electrical circuits
Preferred skills and experiences
• Plan and perform unusual and difficult work where only general methods are available
• Instruct other people, and assign/coordinate work
