We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our Advanced Materials & Processes Division!
Pay: $95,000 – $114,000 DOE
Job Description
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Includes Manufacturing Engineering I duties and responsibilities
- Integral part of product design team and provides DFMA input
- Validates and monitors fabrication and production process and controls
- Designs, develops and implements all forms of fixtures, tools, and inspection gages tofacilitate fabrication and assembly
- Generates, tracks and maintains bill of materials for assemblies, methods of manufactureand work/build instructions
- Instrumental in material and resource planning and coordinating with the Product team toensure schedules are kept
- Assists with planning manufacturing work flow and space requirements
- Solves technical problems utilizing technical reference materials and various inspectiontools and techniques
- Supports or may lead prototype builds and evaluations of materials and processes
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, or equivalent degree
- Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude required, hands-on engineering experience in a fabricationand assembly shop environment is desired
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with basic material properties, in process verification and validation
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
