Manufacturing Engineer (Information Systems)

Contract Position
$54.37/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and diagnose the root cause of bugs or issues with software systems.
- Ability to solution a work-around and permanent technical solutions to address bugs and new business cases
- Write and understand queries written in Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Support required Audits including: Customer DCMA / DCAA and Internal ISO and corporate audits
- Support proposal development on Manufacturing related IT solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/IT related field is required combined with 3 + years of relevant work experience; additional graduate-level degree is a plus.
- Candidate should possess a hands on IT technical background as well as an in-depth understanding of manufacturing execution applications and business processes.
- General knowledge of ERP Systems
- Knowledge of Quality Information System (QIS) and manufacturing quality process.
- Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill
- Intimate knowledge of Computer Aided Process Planning and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Familiarity with enterprise reporting tools such as OBIEE or COGNOS.
- Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS.
- Ability to understand and author solutions using Java, SQL, JSP, MVC and others.
- Familiarity with enterprise reporting tools such as OBIEE or COGNOS.
- General Understanding of our plant capabilities.
- Thrive in a flexible and ever changing manufacturing environment supporting a variety of products and process.
- Capable of frequent interface with all functional organizations and suppliers.
- Established skills in technical leadership, project execution and conflict management; with proven competency in effective problem solving and decision making.
