Our medical devices manufacturing client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their team in Berlin, CT to oversee all engineering activities within the department. You will be responsible for managing the engineering change orders, coordinating the deployment of changes, training the operation team members, and driving continuous improvement efforts. You will also be involved in developing robust manufacturing processes, managing equipment qualification and process validations, and ensuring product quality and safety.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in contract manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device or other regulated industry
A proven track record of managing engineering projects and teams
A strong knowledge of CNC machining, tumbling, blasting, laser marking/welding, passivation, anodizing, and other related processes
A working knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and other relevant regulations and standards
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and MS Project, as well as Engineering programs such as Solidworks, ESPIRIT, etc.
A strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Epicor ERP system experience
