A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Maintains and develops MES processes in support of manufacturing operations.
  • Maintains reliable MES solutions for changing business needs.
  • Creates, updates, and manages reports using MES tools.
  • Troubleshoots MES application issues by working with process owners and IT.
  • Performs assessments of procedures within the manufacturing environment, identifying non-conformances, recommending and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Creates and/or executes validation and qualification protocols and documents results and findings as required for MES.
  • Performs all manufacturing assignments in accordance with established safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in continual process improvement activities designed to optimize quality, compliance, process efficiency, and lead times.
  • Develops work instructions for MES users.
  • Provides training, as required, for end users.
  • Assists in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and 6 sigma techniques.
  • Provides end user MES applications support.

YOU’RE AWESOME AT:

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to establish working relationships with both technical and non-technical staff members.
  • Skilled at promoting team cooperation and a commitment to team success.
  • Exposure to other supporting information technologies such as SQL server, PLCs, bar coding and production scheduling is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable with QSRs.
  • Must have strong cGMP documentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively share information regarding issues in written or verbal form and making recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple priorities and complete assignments on time with minimal errors.
  • Associates Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years’ equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in IT, Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in FDA/GMP/ISO environment required.
  • Experience with MES applications required.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing environment required.
  • Lean manufacturing experience desirable.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The starting base pay range for this position is $26.17 – $32.74 per hour. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.

Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts.
