The Talent Strategies Team at BJC HealthCare provides a full range of talent acquisition and recruitment support activities for BJC HealthCare across 15 hospitals and community health locations. By acting as a strategic resource for BJC hiring leaders and building strong relationships with internal and external customers, applicants and candidates, the Talent Strategies Team consultants and advises on best practices for bringing talent into the organization, supporting candidates through the hiring process and delivering an optimal candidate experience.

Role Purpose

The Market Intel and Sourcing Advisor will develop and implement innovative research and sourcing strategies to build strong pipelines of candidates for a wide range of specialties across BJC HealthCare. Leverage social media, to attract top talent and build relationships in various markets. Conduct in depth market research to gain a thorough understanding of the marketplace. This position will partner closely with the TA Advisors and leaders to develop and execute sourcing strategies that will align to current and future talent needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a diverse pool of qualified applicants for vacancies.
  • Performs advanced sourcing including social media, internet and data base mining, developing relationships with professional organizations, colleges and schools, community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions.
  • Leverages media to support sourcing and talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Integrates market/business intelligence resources to support planning and decision-making around university, social, and event strategies.
  • Advises upon and executes localized university initiatives, collaborates with event team to execute event strategies and provides sourcing support, as appropriate.
