This position will have flexibility to report out a Weyerhaeuser Office or work remotely provided you are currently based (or are planning to move to) one of the following states Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia. This role is not open to those who live in other states or countries.
Primary Responsibilities
- Proactively develop actionable insights and recommendations that inform and shape our strategies using analytical tools and models leveraging internal and external data sources.
- Effectively synthesize information to address multi-layered strategic questions.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate views into customer, business and product strategies.
- Identify and assess key business drivers, relevant market trends and emerging opportunities and risks for building products.
- Design, implement and support tools that provide business teams ad-hoc access to large datasets (eg data visualization tools for non-tech business users).
- Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques and strategies to improve current sales and operations KPIs.
- Provide data driven insights and recommendations to improve competitive positioning. Create and present analyses and data visualization of trends related to our competitive position, products and services and outlook to performance in the marketplace.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years professional experience; 5+ years working in analytics/business intelligence environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Wood products industry experience with knowledge of the industry segments and value chain.
- Proven experience working with large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI) and other software tools such as Word and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of SAP and experience with CRM tools preferred.
- Detail-oriented and an aptitude for solving unstructured problems.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex subjects clearly and concisely and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Superior interpersonal communications and influencing, executive presence and experience in project management, working with cross functional teams.
- Proven command of market and financial reporting and ability to drive comprehensive market and competitive research as well as market and competitor segmentation methodologies.

What We Offer:
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $101,567 to $152,351 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.
Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full time employees.
