Role Purpose

This position supports all BJC hospitals and service organizations (HSOs) by helping to design, implement and report primary market research efforts for BJC HealthCare. The individual will work closely with the Market Research manager and Marketing & Communications (MarComm) colleagues for ongoing and project-based market research related to hospital marketing, clinical program marketing, patient experience, strategic planning and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with HSO and Clinical Program Marketing colleagues to understand and align on opportunities to use market research to guide strategic marketing priorities and messages, in support of both reputation and volume objectives.
  • Supports the design and implementation of primary qualitative and quantitative market research projects by writing and programing survey instruments, conducting statistical analyses of the findings and writing/presenting the final report.
  • Collaborates with external research vendors and partners to ensure high-quality research results within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Communicates insights and recommendations to MarComm leadership and other key stakeholders based on the results of primary research.
  • Works with the Market Research Manager to prepare data dashboards to demonstrate the current state of strategic marketing projects and measurement.
