The electrification sector is experiencing unprecedented growth with the acceleration of multimodal zero-emissions transportation. Innovation in the clean transportation sector is revolutionizing the urban mobility space. Our automotive / e-mobility company centers on accelerating the equitable transition to zero-emission electric, connected, autonomous, and shared vehicles. Our growing organization is looking to add an energetic, experienced Market Research Manager to help us continue to lead the e-mobility space in data and research.
This is a full-time position with some travel. The person who fills this role needs to be formally trained in data management and quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. This individual will be in charge of coordinating with our research team to direct and manage our research projects including managing tasks like executing data collection, data analysis, report development, and dissemination of key findings.

This organization’s mission is to increase awareness of multimodal zero-emissions transportation while accelerating a just transition to its adoption.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure research programs are transparent, accountable, and scientifically sound
- Direct and implement the design and development of all research and data projects
- Mentor and provide best practices to junior members of the research team while holding up the standards and ethics of the company
- Develop and maintain relationships with research leaders and organizations in the field
- Develop and write research and data Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practices guidance
- Ability to design studies, write questionnaires, analyze results and plan/create insightful and actionable reports
- Responsible for the accuracy, thoroughness, quality, and timeliness of research protocols, data analyses and final report-outs from projects
- Understand the appropriate use of advanced analytics, various sampling approaches and weighting
- Assist the grants and contracts team in writing sections of proposals related to research and data management
- Experience writing research reports and briefs, creating top line summaries in a clear and succinct manner
- Management of timelines, deliverables and project progression as related to data and research segments of contracts
- Coordination on all research and data projects with the research & programs team
- Report progress of research efforts across contracts and projects regularly at internal facing meetings and to their supervisor and the leadership team
- Facilitate internal research team meetings
- Manage our quantitative and qualitative data to effectively present data findings to leadership and clients
- Manage research team members and contractors as needed
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable and responsive to stakeholders and external and internal partners.
- Ability to take complex information and data and present it in a clear and succinct manner

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Skills and Abilities
- At least 4-5 years working on a research and data team as a data analyst or associate, with at least 1 year of management or leadership experience
- Masters degree in business, Market Research or any related degree with formal coursework in survey methodology
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods and proficiency with software packages used for survey data analysis such as R, SPSS, Stata or SAS, Qualtrics, Typeform, Tableau required
- A leader who also turns to creative thinking during decision-making and problem-solving with internal and external partners and projects
- Experience writing and developing research and data Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practices
- Experience presenting research findings and methodologies in professional settings, to clients or higher-academic settings
- Demonstrated experience with math assessment, statistics, and research best practices.
- Knowledge of ARCGIS and other mapping competencies
- Passion for seeking equity and justice, and appreciation for how e-mobility intersects holistic with the social determinants of health
- Stable, High-speed Internet access
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience leading/managing a data and research team
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
- Experience working on a collaborative program team and leading deliverable management
- Familiarity and/or experience training others on data and research methodologies and research practices
- Experience working with under resourced populations and/or communities not often engaged in research and data collection efforts

Location
US; Hybrid/Remote. We prefer that this role be based in Atlanta or in the Southeastern United States between North Carolina and Florida. Occasional travel to join team members at internally and externally-facing meetings and events will be expected. A background check is required before employment.
