Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive overall strategy for the San Francisco/Bay Area and Hawaii markets. The role will work across numerous different stakeholder groups to drive United’s external strategy in these regions. Additionally, this role will lead cross-divisional workstreams that are focused on high-impact competitive areas, leveraging data and analytics to identify key areas of opportunity for uniquely positioning United in the market.
- Responsible for leading market-specific strategy work. Facilitates and drives internal working team meetings, creating region-specific initiatives that tie to team goals and identifying areas of opportunity in market through key quantitative and qualitative input.
- Partner internally across various divisions to support the execution of strategic cross-divisional efforts within the market. Optimally collaborate with company collaborators to ensure all goals are met within specific project timelines.
- Develop and manage key partnerships in the market to elevate United’s brand and visibility locally. Work with stakeholders and partners across key industries specific to the Bay Area to drive awareness of United’s key investments. Identify and engage strategically with key external opinion leaders in the markets.
- Leverage a variety of commercial and customer data sources to track key market metrics and measure individual campaign performance.
The salary for this position is $98,400 to $144,320, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of related experience
- Project management oversight
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience presenting to senior executive audiences and across varying workgroups
- Ability to represent United externally
- Experience building external partnerships and programming coordination
- Analytical and research skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
