This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer an active DoD Secret clearance.

As a Program Management Analyst, you will support the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Program Office (PNT PO) with cutting edge modernization / development, and ongoing sustainment of a variety of GPS receivers and user equipment to meet DoD and national-level priorities. In this role, you will:

  • Identifying and documenting acquisition related activities to plan, develop and implement program strategies; preparation for milestone events; and documentation of these activities in program briefs and reports.
  • Supports the overall project lead and provides support to Integrated Product Teams, conferences, and meetings.
  • The various programs being worked may require interfacing with other Air Force, Navy and Army offices for coordination of program related activities.
  • Responsible for providing acquisition analyses to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services in support of the customer’s mission. Services include some or all of the following:
    • Supporting the identification and documentation of acquisition and sustainment related activities to plan, develop and implement program strategies; milestone preparation; and documentation of these activities in program briefs and reports.
    • Evaluating requirements to assess program and mission objectives and integrating these activities with other program and functional elements within the program office and outside organizations.
    • Preparing and reviewing program documents, including acquisition plans, development and production schedules, and design studies.
    • Identifying problem areas for further study and evaluation.
    • Providing Program Managers and higher-level management with status and decision information on assigned programs/projects.
    • Performing liaison work with other DoD Program Offices, and operational units.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A U.S. citizenship
  • This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer an active DoD Secret clearance
  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years related acquisition experience in USAF and/or DoD programs
  • Experience with defense acquisition processes as contained in DoD 5000 series directives
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills
  • A clear understanding of the OSD and USAF Acquisition organization
  • Travel up to 10% of the time (if required)

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • 7 years related acquisition experience, 3 of which was working in an Acquisition related Program Office (SPO)
  • Level I Certified in Acquisition Program Management
  • Prior participation in development, coordination, execution of program milestones for ACAT I, II or III level programs
  • Experience with Section 804 programs, Mid-Tier Acquisition, Other Transaction Authority
  • Experience with GPS systems

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $71,778.20 to $116,639.58; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
