Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is hiring a Marketing and Content Specialist to focus on its thrift store retail operations.
The successful applicant’s goal will be to bring more shoppers and donated items to the Ranch’s thrift stores (both online and brick & mortar) through social media messaging and scheduling, content creation (including video), creating and implementing sales promotions and in-store events, creating and placing advertising for best results, and more.
Work with a creative and fun communications team that works hard and laughs often.
Work Schedule and Travel: This position is typically scheduled to work 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to account for special events and travel. Some travel (25%) required to other thrift store locations. The position is located in Fargo.
Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age, have an insurable driving record, and pass Ranch background checks.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing-related field preferred or 2+ years of related experience and/or training. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Creative Cloud, video production tools, and the ability to learn a variety of cloud-based software programs. Must have design experience, as well the ability to create compelling content (written, video, and image) for social media.
