Better Business Bureau is looking for a Marketing Campaign Coordinator to join the team.
About the position
This position creates programs for organizational financial stability by educating and informing our customers and users about BBB products, services, and solutions. This role is part of an innovative team who creates brand value through marketing, media, and community engagement to protect and promote the BBB brand.
The Marketing Campaign Coordinator is the primary liaison between the marketing and communication teams. This role supports communication event promotions, graphic design work, and campaign planning & scheduling. The Marketing Campaign Coordinator is vital in ensuring effective coordination and collaboration between marketing and communications, contributing to the successful execution of marketing campaigns.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Event Marketing
- Collaborate with the communication team to understand event promotion needs and develop marketing strategies to support event initiatives.
- Assist in organizing and executing marketing events, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and virtual support as needed
Content Development
- Coordinate the execution of Marketing and Communication campaigns, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in creating and designing Marketing and Communication collateral, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Support developing and implementing campaign messaging across various channels, including digital platforms, social media, and email marketing.
- Conduct research and gather data for campaign strategies, target audience identification and messaging optimization.
Campaign Performance
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide regular reports to the marketing and communication teams, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with the communication team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing and communication channels.
Additional Duties
- Assist in maintaining the marketing campaign calendar, tracking deadlines, and ensuring deliverables are met.
- Support budget management as it pertains to marketing campaigns, including monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective practices.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing campaign coordination, event promotion, and graphic design.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in graphic design software and tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Illustrator).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of marketing principles, best practices, and current trends.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze campaign data and metrics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive results.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of two years experience in a fast-paced office with proven project management skills.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
