The Marketing Communication Manager will design, plan, and execute consistent communication and content strategy across all channels including but not limited to new product and program launches, promotional materials, internal and external communications, presentations, and customer events. The ideal candidate should know how to apply analytics to personalize and optimize content and effectively communicate both technical and non-technical messaging and evaluate campaign effectiveness. The candidate will regularly interact with agency partners, cross-functional leaders, and leadership team members to build new opportunities across our customer engagements. The Marketing Communication Manager will be an individual contributor, clear communicator and possess great analytical and project management skills.

This position is remote and will serve Commercial Water within the Global Water Division, located in Oxnard, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Plan and execute a content and communication strategy across traditional and digital platforms that drives high engagement.
  • Drive paid media strategy development to achieve data driven results.
  • Social strategy and earned media integration.
  • Demonstrate strong branding advocacy for both internally and externally created materials. Lead and innovate trade advertising, content strategy and implementation.
  • Serve as editor-in-chief and graphic lead for internal content channels.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content, campaigns and communication strategy as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and training team, product, and sales leaders/ agency partners to create promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Manage the distribution of content across all internal and external channels. Optimize and nurture e-mail campaigns to generate leads.
  • Brand equity advertising support and execution across touchpoints.
  • Brand Planning and strategy support.
  • Daily management of key vendors and agency partners to ensure effective project management, timely project completion, quality, and efficient use of resources to achieve planned objectives within budget.
  • Establish key reporting metrics on all channels and initiatives and set up monthly/quarterly reports to monitor progress and results.
  • Effectively manage the marketing budget with a keen sense of detail.
  • Periodic travel may be required. (~25%)

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Emphasis in advertising, (digital) marketing, communications, journalism, or business is preferred.
  • Min. 5 years demonstrated evidence of progressive experience in marketing, content development and management, agency experience leading in a multi-project, deadline-oriented environment. Be prepared to demonstrate results of comprehensive communication strategies.
  • A track record of implementing content marketing tactics such as digital advertising, e-mail marketing and social media campaigns is required.
  • Evidence of professional proficiency in writing, public speaking, and expression of complex technical data in simple terms is necessary.
  • Solid proficiency with the entire suite of Microsoft Office suite of software is essential. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Google Analytics, Oracle or like programs is a plus.
  • Demonstrated organizational, resource, time management and budget ownership skills.
  • A demonstrable track record of effective social media campaigns.
  • Teaming skills are essential.

Payscale for this role based in California is: $74,000-$85,000. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria”.
