Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Nexus-East Bethel is looking to add a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our BRAND NEW psychiatric residential treatment facility!

This Nexus PRTF location is estimated to open late 2023 and will serve youth ages 10-19 who need a higher level of mental and behavioral health care.

Nexus Family Healing is a national nonprofit network ofmental health agencieswith over 50 years of restoring hope for thousands of children and families through outpatient/community mental health services, foster care, adoption, and residential treatment.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Supports agency leadership through development of internal communication plans and management of internal communications channels such as intranet, newsletters, all-staff meetings
  • Provides, creates, and manages agency content marketing through impact stories, data collection, video and photos, social media pages, and website pages
  • Manages brand identity and the development of promotional items for all internal and external communications and promotions to ensure consistency in standards
  • Assists with external messaging, local media outreach, and networking activities, to create positive community relations and increased name and mission recognition
  • Manages the planning, execution, and promotion of site/program specific special events, including community events, graduations, employee recognition events
  • Supports organization-wide corporate initiatives and assists with other projects as assigned
  • Ensures confidentiality regarding all organizational business, residents’ medical backgrounds, and treatment issues per HIPAA guidelines

Required Education and Licensure:

  • 2+ years’ experience supporting a Marketing team and department
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience writing in a variety of styles for various audiences
  • Moderate to high graphic design skills
  • Strong social media skills
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital photography
  • Valid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience supporting a Marketing team and department

Schedule/Pay:

  • Full-time, Hybrid opportunity (2+ days on-site per week)
  • Monday-Friday
  • Starting Salary $50,000+
