The opportunity
Employing a digital-first mindset, you’ll have the opportunity to help the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) for EY Consulting’s marketing team deliver compelling marketing campaigns for our primary buyers, as aligned to the Consulting practice’s strategic goals and revenue plan. The right candidate understands how to coordinate multi-channel marketing content generation and brings the right balance of attention to detail, project management, marketing knowledge, and professional polish.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you are responsible for creating and delivering tactics for end-to-end marketing campaigns, including drip/nurture email campaigns, content generation and sales enablement materials (PowerPoint presentations, talking points, etc.), and branded materials for EY-hosted and third-party events to drive demand and measurable impact for audiences. You will also need to have hands-on experience managing the execution of a campaign or event, including creating the timeline, managing the creation of campaign assets and collateral, and social media amplification.
Responsibilities include:
- Write, edit and execute digital first promotional, website, and email content for CIO buyers, relying on a strong understanding of the sales funnel content strategy including thought leadership and B2B email marketing
- Create internal marketing communication programs and materials to engage the Technology Consulting practitioners with upcoming events and/or the most current client-facing marketing collateral and campaigns, including newsletter submissions and approved social media messages for distribution across relevant BMC teams
- Work collaboratively with content strategy team to develop high impact assets and optimize SEO/SEM, ABM, social and paid media strategies
- Support key marketing campaigns as the project traffic manager, including the creation of editorial calendars and project delivery schedules, coordination of promotion channels, risk management review, and leadership approval cycles
- Schedule regular status meetings with your team, create the agenda, present progress reports for each project and schedule for completion, and analyze the results of completed campaigns
- Adhere to EY independence, procurement, branding, invoicing policies and guidelines
Skills and attributes for success
- Campaign management skills and knowledge, hands-on marketing experience, organization and prioritization skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
- Ability to quickly build knowledge of the EY business, particularly the key priorities, structure, internal and external audience, core offerings and our clients’ issues and agendas
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) as well as digital marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Conductor, Power BI dashboards, LinkedIn) to target buyers, benchmark campaigns and track ROI
- Ability to work autonomously when necessary in a virtual work environment with a team that is geographically dispersed
What we look for in a candidate
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in digital and/or event marketing; experience marketing to the technology sector, CIO and tech executive buyers is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- Previous experience in a professional services firm environment is preferred
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent project management skills and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise and easily digestible manner for broad audiences
- Poise and confidence to professionally interact with various levels of leadership
What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $62,300 to $109,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $74,800 to $124,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
