The rapidly changing games industry has influenced the latest digital marketing trends and is one of the few industries with the potential to reach 2 billion worldwide. The Amazon Games Marketing Team is seeking a talented leader for our Growth Marketing, Media and Analytics team who are marketers responsible for paid media and acquisition, funnel optimization, lifecycle marketing and CRM. This key role will provide the right candidate the opportunity to own the growth P&L and contribute to building a business from early stages in a startup environment. Success in this role requires long-term strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to driving continuous improvement and guidance for a global, distributed team, including optimizing budgets, channels and mix, creative and platforms to accelerate player growth at scale at a positive ROAS. You are strategic and creative, yet technical, and have shown the ability to identify new growth strategies and tactics, along with the ability to implement the smallest hacks. You embrace data and are comfortable working with designers, engineers, analysts, and product managers to get things done.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of best-in-class growth marketers, media and analysts on live ops, player growth, optimization and lifecycle marketers
- Establish best practices, drive a culture of innovation, analysis and optimization across the player funnel of acquisition, engagement and retention across all paid and unpaid growth channels
- Identify/evaluate leading edge technology and unconventional growth initiatives while also ensuring the growth stack is prepared to evolve with it. Collaborate with business intelligence teams, data architects, and developers to deliver optimal attribution, customer engagement tools, platforms, and encourage adoption and best practices
- Work with demand planning, product, and game marketing teams to on budget models for launches and live games to achieve ROAS and deliver player goals across channels.
- Lead team in setting KPIs and goals and review performance and insights with the wider marketing, game team and senior management.
- Build mechanisms for working across teams, including creative, to share performance learnings and optimize performance.
- Collaborate and build relationships with marketing, product, publishing and business leaders with AG and marketing teams across Amazon’s entertainment and retail organizations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the global games market, player acquisition trends, and competitive landscape.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of user acquisition experience including working with variable budgets, leading global campaigns at scale, and managing spend against customer value.
- 7+ years working with buying tools and data systems.
- 5+ leading digital marketing teams and a history of hiring, managing, and training teams in high-performing cultures.
- Digital marketing expertise, including growing social channels, implementing high impact A/B tests, and driving creative asset pipeline.
- Proven analytical skills, comfortable working in data-driven business environments, and ability to solve ambiguous problems.
- Demonstrated ability to discover and articulate business insight, provide well-structured data to support hypothesis, and analyze results.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration, or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with statistical modeling and SQL or other relational database languages.
- Masters in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Game industry experience including marketing games as a service and AAA multiplatform global game launches
- Love playing games

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $278,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
