This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Global Marketing Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting the strategy for execution of growth activities by the marketing organization and its members through simplified structures and processes, fast decision making, and trial and error learning.
  • Optimize the marketing organization: deliver marketing-function excellence by aligning marketing strategy with business and zone strategy, build strong governance, strengthen marketing tools and operations, and foster a culture that encourages innovation and agility.
  • Measure and improve marketing performance: work with marketing teams to set key success metrics, leverage analytics to assess results, and translate insights into impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business lines and zones to define and execute detailed marketing plans in line with business strategy.
  • Act as liaison between commercial teams, marketing, and marketing operations to ensure effective triage of leads and follow-up.
  • Conduct marketing surveillance for competitive intelligence and industry trends.
  • Communicate with stakeholders across the organization to support effective collaboration and alignment on launch activities.
  • Capture key progress metrics along program/launch readiness timeline and communicate regularly and effectively this progress, highlighting areas of success and risk.
  • Address challenges and remove obstacles to meet key launch execution milestones.
  • Lead debriefing and learning activities to support optimization for future programs and/or launches.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in life sciences or medical device setting.
  • Prior launch experience required.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
  • Experience managing global projects and building relationships and rapport across functions and markets.
  • Demonstrated success applying skills in change management, including building consensus, influencing, and effectively supporting colleagues in the timely completion of deliverables and tasks across stakeholders.
  • Fluent with project management tools (MS Project, Asana) and general office tools (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledge of operations and commercial practices in the medical device industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • A proven track record of conceptual creative ability and judgment.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with creative and marketing teams.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).

The pay range for this position is $107,000.00 – $148,000.00 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
