Marketing Manager, Amazon Go

Amazon Go is a new kind of store with no lines and no checkout – customers simply grab what they want, and go! Our Just Walk Out Technology creates an effortless shopping experience our customers love. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to own high priority promotions and owned-channel marketing initiatives. We are seeking a customer obsessed marketer who can deliver big ideas, has demonstrated successful campaign ownership, and possesses an ability to identify and prioritize opportunities using data.

The successful candidate for this role has experience establishing strategy and cross-channel marketing tactics to maximize customer reach and impact and has a proven ability to work cross-functionally, make data-driven decisions, and influence others. You must be able to work at the strategic level (generating new ideas to evolve your campaigns) and at the tactical level (managing development and execution of promotions and owned-channel campaigns). You are a self-starter and possess strong analytical skills and thrive working among a broad, diverse set of stakeholders. You leverage strong organizational and project management skills and have a track record of delivering quality work.

This is a permanent position based in Seattle, WA.

Key job responsibilities
• Work cross-functionally with creative, category, in-stock, operations, merchandising, and in-store experience counterparts to deliver monthly rotational promotions program to drive sales and meet overarching revenue goals
• Develop and execute on strategies to increase impact of promotions, inclusive of proposing new tests and optimizations to our promotions marketing tactics and channels
• Rapidly test via owned marketing channels (e.g. email) to engage customers across the customer lifecycle
• Establish and maintain central marketing calendar
• Monitor performance metrics for your programs and use key insights to execute optimizations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

– Experience with A/B testing, especially around audience segmentation and targeting

– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

– Ability to manage stakeholders and present to various levels of an organization

– Excellent written/verbal communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience with end-to-end promotions management

– Experience managing lifecycle emails and leveraging tools for email automation and content scheduling

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
